Our client, in the financial services sector is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join them on a 6-month assignment. The position will be working hybrid, 2 days on site at their offices in Oakville.Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst is as follows:Ensure the financial results are in compliance with IFRS and provide accurate and timely reports and analysis to Management and external stakeholdersPrepare and review significant analyses, reports, cash flow statements, journal entries and reconciliations as part of the monthly financial reporting and review processAnalyze significant variances, key metrics and business trendsAssist with preparation of the quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRSPrepare the quarterly MD&AIdentify and execute process improvementsProvide recommendations on accounting treatment for transactions, business initiatives and contracts in accordance with IFRSRequirementsUniversity degree, preferably in Accounting or FinanceCPA designation requiredMinimum 5+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience, including the preparation of financial statementsAbility to act decisively and deal with deadlines during peak periodsStrong attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationshipsIf you are already registered with The Mason Group, please contact your Recruiting Consultant directly with reference to job #18858.
