Senior Field Marketing Manager / Senior Events Manager
Role
- You will work reporting to our Head of Business Development, creating and executing on our conference strategy to drive sales leads for our company.
- Our current strategy involves hosting conference side events e.g. happy hours, executive dinners, but we are looking for someone to take over our current event portfolio and use their expertise to grow it further.
Qualifications (Must have)
- Capable of creating and executing on an end-to-end event strategy, articulating the key targets, managing the budget, and reporting on key results for the company.
- Experience in hosting intimate events for business executives.
- Experience event promotion i.e. "getting butts in seats" - getting VIPs to sign up through direct outreach or other creative marketing methods. We only host events for C-suite Executives and getting their attention is not always easy, and you will work closely with our sales team to creatively think of ways to get our target customers to register.
Qualifications (Bonus if you have)
- Experience selling event sponsorships to cover the cost of the event.
- Experience hosting events in the software, blockchain, or any other high tech industry.
Engagement
You work remotely 9-5 and fly out to north american based conferences as needed. Our team is based our of Toronto and London (UK). We are open to hiring for full-time, fractionally, or contract, depending on what the candidate prefers.
