About our client Our client is a global travel & tourism data and analytics company. They help hundreds of tourism organizations navigate change and accelerate tourism by providing comprehensive tourism data (via their insights platform) and by providing a full suite of related consulting services. About the role In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional product development, product delivery, data operations, and customer service teams to plan, design, and develop interactive data products in Domo. The candidate should possess a strong background in analyzing complex datasets from various sources, defining appropriate data structures to enable insightful product presentations, and designing beautiful, intuitive dashboards that cover critical use cases faced by their clients. DeliverablesParticipate in data product planning and requirements-gathering efforts. Analyze datasets and develop data architecture and preparation requirements that align with data product business, technical, and compliance requirements. Work with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and UX Designers to ideate product wireframes and prototypes. Coordinate with Data Engineering, Data Operations, and compliance/security team members to ensure optimal delivery of production-ready datasets from our client’s platform (Snowflake and AWS). Build and test data enrichment pipelines in Domo where needed. Build dashboards in Domo based on wireframes and prototypes that align with our client’s data product design standards and best practices. Build Domo alerts to drive product re-engagement. Work with internal quality assurance team members to test and optimize data products for performance and user experience. Assist team members with development, implementation/delivery, and customer documentation. About you7-10 years of experience in data analysis and visualization using Tableau, Power BI, Sisense, SAS, Qlik etc.. Experience in data visualization for SaaS data products preferred. Advanced proficiency in Domo is required. 5+ years of hands-on working experience with Domo, 3+ years in a Domo lead / Domo solution architect position. Strong background in developing high-performance data models and ETL pipelines. Experience and prior application of data governance and compliance principles, specifically data quality assurance testing and GDPR compliance requirements. Awareness of security, performance, high availability and fault-tolerance and best practices Experience developing Domo DDX bricks would be advantageous. SQL and Python skills would be advantageous. A master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, applied math or related discipline.
