Blackline Safety is looking for an experienced candidate to build and operate Blackline Safety’s global cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate is experienced with Infrastructure as Code deployments in the cloud using CI/CD pipelines.
- Design, develop, and test deployment of Well Architected AWS cloud infrastructure
- Operate cloud infrastructure and provide on call support
- Perform technology evaluation and selection of managed cloud services
- Champion uptime, reliability, compliance, and security
- Mentor junior engineers in IaC and CI/CD practices
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure
- Strong understanding of containers and Docker · Strong networking skills
- Experience creating CI/CD pipelines · Experience designing and deploying cloud Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with streaming services such as Kafka, Kinesis
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, ELK, Splunk
- Experience with Python
- Linux system administration and scripting
- DBA experience is a nice-to-have
