As a Senior Data Engineering Analyst, you work on innovative projects to analyze and structure data to meet the diverse needs of Credit Risk Analytics and Climate Risks teams. Thereby becoming an essential link in creating value and customer impact at the Bank, as well as organizational resilience. This in a dynamic and friendly work environment."

  • Contribute to the design and development of solutions for acquiring structured and unstructured data.
  • Support the implementation of data environments enabling analysis for business intelligence, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence purposes.
  • Develop and test data ingestion processes.
  • Produce, reconcile, and validate data and their quality indicators.
  • Communicate and simplify complex technical concepts to users of analytical platforms.
  • Work in an agile/iterative context.

Your team

Within the Credit Analytics and Climate Risks sector, you are part of a department of roughly fifty colleagues and a team of about ten colleagues. You report to the Senior Director StressTesting, Risk Data analytics and Climate Risk. Our team stands out for its varied expertise in credit risk and quantitative methods. You enjoy a flexible and hybrid work environment with a target office presence of 40%.

Our training programs use on-the-job learning to help you master your role. You can access personalized training content on such topics as banking solutions and the advisory approach to support your ongoing learning. You’ll also have access to colleagues with a wide range of expertise, experience, and backgrounds to enrich all aspects of your development.

Prerequisite

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience; OR a master's degree and three (3) years of experience in in data engineering or related to the field.
  • Experience in data manipulation, analysis, and prototyping.
  • Experience in risk management (credit, market, operational, etc.), desirable.
  • Knowledge of one or more data manipulation languages: SAS, SQL, Python.
  • Knowledge of agile methodology (Scrum) is an asset.
