Candidates must be legally authorized to work in CanadaJob Description Insight Global is looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer to work remotely in Canada for a large AAA game employer on a 6-month contract. You will be working with the data products team on the core metric platform for centralized reporting for all games. This platform is built off Snowflake warehouse with heavy DBT core workflow and improvement opportunities. They are currently using a Power BI visualization tool. A high level of DBT proficiency is required, including knowing best practices and being able to advise on process improvement and optimizations. 50% of your time will be spent coding in Python, and 50% of your time will be spent in documentation, ETLs and Git.
