Wherever customers are on their financial journey, Money Mart Financial Services provides solutions.#CorporateJob DescriptionCandidates must reside in the GTA area to be considered for this role as they will be required to be in office 3 days a week at the Toronto Corporate Office.Role FunctionThe Senior Data Analyst will be a part of the Enterprise analytics team working closely with various business functions delivering key insights to meet their respective business objectives. We are looking for a curious techno functional individual who is passionate about mining data sets to deliver value aimed at business growth. The role will primarily revolve around building reports and insights for Non-Prime lending & other financial products for Product/Retail and Marketing functions.Responsibilities & Qualifications6+ years of Experience in Analysis & Reporting preferably from the financial services industry.Sound knowledge of financial products related to the areas of Product & Marketing.Experience with Tableau/ Power BI for Reporting & AnalyticsAdvance level SQL scripting Experience and proven record of mining complex datasets.Experience with scripting languages and libraries such as Python/ R.Willingness to work and perform under fast- paced agile deadlines.Strong communicator and ability to interpret complex business requirements into insights.Demonstrate ownership and accountability of the deliverables.Be a strong team player and exhibit mentorship with other team membersThe Senior Data Analyst will be performing the following duties:Generate, optimize, and share output of recurring reports for stakeholders across multiple business functions.Build Tableau Dashboards enabling KPIs leveraging expert level functions & expressions.Build Datasets & reports using Analytical SQL expressions.Managing a queue of reporting requests related to report enhancements, reporting bug fixes.Day to Day support on Tableau Desktop and Server refreshing, bug-fixing, and enhancementsDevelop Business insights based on use cases leveraging R/PythonQualificationsEDUCATIONRequired: A bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or FinanceAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Additional InformationNotice to Ontario Applicants - National Money Mart is committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities up to the point of undue hardship during the recruitment, assessment and selection process.
