Job Description

Role PurposeTransfer new job/project creations from the bidding software Bid2Win (B2W) into JD Edwards (JDE).Analyze financial data related to construction projects including cost estimates, budgets, and actual costs incurred.Maintain internal material blanket orders for all jobs, which includes creating blanket orders upon job creation, adding materials, price adjustments, material description changes, etc.Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and processes for accurate project reporting.Provide guidance and mentoring to the team as needed.Collaborate with other departments including procurement, accounting, and project management to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Monitor and report on project progress and provide analysis on variances from the budget.Manage the preparation of project closeout reports including final cost accounting analysis.Position Requirements :Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction cost accounting or related fieldExperience with construction management software and ERP systems.Related accounting designation or pursuing a designation.Strong computer skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office.Bilingual (English / French) - fluent in both verbal and written formsExperience with JD Edwards is an asset.Results-driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast-paced environment.Outcome-focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.Versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.Our PurposeAt Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP), our people are second to none.
