Job Description
Client: Healthcare IT Terms: 1 year General OS sysadmin skills (system management, task scheduling, scripting, etc) in both Windows Server and Red Hat Linux Expert knowledge and operational experience managing SQL Server RDBMS instances (2012 R2 and newer) (on Windows Server) Develop TSQL scripts, procedures, functions, triggers, SQL and Powershell scripts Operational experience managing SQL Server Availability groups Perform and schedule database backup and restore of databases Experience patching SQL Server instances in an Availability group configuration Expert knowledge and operational experience managing Oracle RDBMS instances (Oracle 11g and 19c) (on Linux and Solaris) -Develop PL/SQL scripts, procedures, functions, triggers, SQL, and Linux/Unix shell -Operational experience managing ASM and Oracle Data Guard replication -Perform and schedule backup and restore of databases (using RMAN) -Proven experience planning and implementing Oracle RDBMS patches and upgrades -Experience managing, troubleshooting, and patching Oracle OEM instances ~ Monitor the databases load & performance, respond to database alerts, and tune them as necessary (Oracle and SQL Server) ~ Familiarity with ETL processes associated with database usage and data warehousing. ~ Develop and test ETL processes to interface data from multiple data sources. ~ Load target databases using transformations. ~ Plan and execute database migrations. ~ Provide database insights on client projects and internal projects. ~ Knowledge of relational database modeling and design. ~ Collaborate with others to provide support, share skills, and learn more. ~ Experience working with project teams in a fast paced environment. ~5+ years of experience with Oracle RDBMS. ~5+ years of experience working with SQL Server
