Your role Reporting to the Claims Manager, the Claims Adjuster investigates, evaluates and settles commercial and personal property claims.What you bring to the position Bilingual required (French/English) Minimum 5 years of claims adjusting experience (property) AMF permit for commercial and personal lines Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent negotiation, analytical and investigative skills Strong time management, problem solving and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage changing prioritiesWhat you will do Collect and analyze claims information through investigation Evaluate coverages, exclusions and liability of various property policies Maintain timely and accurate records throughout claim handling Maintain timely and accurate claim reserves Establish and maintain strong relationships with both claims vendors and clients Provide exceptional service Provide timely reports and file presentations to Claims Manager Produce analysis related to underwriting risks Work both independently and as part of the claims team Contribute to the development of the claims team Share knowledge and experience with fellow Adjusters Participate in claims department projects and ad hoc tasksWhat we offer Competitive compensation package RRSP program with Company matching Paid training and professional development Location: Remote – Quebec Schedule: Full time Employee status: Permanent#J-18808-Ljbffr
