Senior Project Manager to manage the expansion of existing service model and the opening of to two new physical locations: Port Coquitlam (also servicing New Westminster) and Abbotsford (also servicing Chilliwack).
Our legal services client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage the expansion of existing service model to two new physical locations: Port Coquitlam (also servicing New Westminster) and Abbotsford (also servicing Chilliwack).
Initial contract goes till Nov 30th 2024 with possibility of extension. Hybrid working model: up to 2 days/week on-site in Downtown Vancouver. 35 hrs/week.
Reporting into the PMO, you will be managing the expansion of existing early-resolution family services to new locations. These services are currently available in Victoria and Surrey and will be expanding to two other Lower Mainland locations by November 2024. The project work will involve standard project management practices to assist and coordinate the set-up of the new office.Each office will be staffed with staff lawyers, paralegals and additional supports. In addition to establishing these offices, change management will be needed to adapt current practices to support these new offices.
Must Have:
- 5+ years as a Project Manager
- Experience in facilities projects (e.g., establishing new offices, managing expansions, renovations, relocations)
Nice to Have:
- Experience mobilizing workforces of up to 20-30 people
- Operationalizing service areas
- Experience working within the justice sector or marginalized communities
