Description

To effectively support our medical equipment and clinical infrastructure within our national network of TELUS Health Care Centers and also support operational effort to standardize and harmonize our medical procedure to mitigate operational risks, we are looking to fulfill a Sr. Business Analyst role for a 1 year maternity leave replacement.

This team member will act as the Health Care Excellence national single point of contact and will own the management of all medical Standard Operating Procedure of our medical equipment portfolio. This team member will also be accountable for the interlock with multiple TELUS Subject Matter Experts (SME) and will closely collaborate with our Director, Quality and Compliance on clinical and equipment accreditations requests.

Furthermore, this individual will support the equipment due diligence prior to any new equipment being deployed within our network of clinics by interface with the privacy and security department of TELUS.

  • Draft or review bilingual medical equipment Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)’s and ensure their proper integration within our Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Maintain up-to-date a dashboard of all activities progress pertaining to Accreditations, SOP’s and Data Enablement Plan (DEP) requests
  • Support the quality management accreditation processes to enable our clinical growth plan and mitigate regulatory noncompliance risks in close collaboration with our Director of Quality and Compliance
  • Perform an in-depth privacy and security analysis and pre-deployment due diligence on all new medical equipment by interlocking with TELUS SME team members
  • Coordinate training effort and support SOP’s communication to every stakeholder and foster better clinical team members engagement and knowledge
  • Support external regulatory audit
  • Analyze, document and validate business requirements from business users and function specification requirements using interviews, document analysis, task and workflow analysis
  • Interface between business and technical teams and translate technical and business requirements into operationalizable procedures
  • Communicates with project managers, subject matter experts, end users and Senior Executive
  • Performs analysis for projects with some impact on and risk to customer service or revenue generation
  • Typically works on multiple, unrelated strategic projects simultaneously
  • Understands industry trends and best practices

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • University degree in a relevant field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role (More specifically on procedure drafting)
  • Bilingualism - Strongly preferred
  • Strong project management and business analysis skills
  • Ability to negotiate with governmental regulatory bodies in complex environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent abilities to communicate clearly and effectively, adapting to the communication level required by each stakeholder
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in medical environments (Nice to have)

Salary Range:  $70,000-$104,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%
