In this role, you will be part of the Market Expansion team, focused on expanding the TELUS suite of Consumer products and services, including Pure Fibre, Koodo Internet, Altima, and Start.ca. You will be a part of a new team with the start up mentality on a mission to become the fastest growing business unit within Home Solutions & Customer Excellence.

What You'll Do
As a (Senior) Business analyst you will play a critical role in managing marketing intelligence and offers configuration for our Consumer Go East portfolio focused on driving growth in Internet net loading, as well as product intensity through bundled offers for TV and Mobile & Home. Using your analytical skills, natural curiosity and ability to find opportunities and bring them forward, you'll work with our teams to help us focus on growth and sales opportunities in this critical area of our business.
Specifically you'll:

  • Research the competitive landscape to inform both tactical and strategic plans
  • Evaluate and identify opportunities within the market using financial, statistical, and qualitative data analysis of markets and competitors to evolve the product portfolio and seize opportunities
  • Collect & analyze consumer data (usage, preferences and behaviors, etc)
  • Synthesize data into clear actionable insights/opportunities to support sales & financial targets
  • In collaboration with Pricing, configure offers in the system to support ambitious sales targets
  • Assist with evolving performance reporting, and deliver on ad-hoc reporting asks
  • Partner closely with Product Development and Go To Market to address any gaps, opportunities and market/customer requirements
  • Stay connected to our sales channel partners to source competitive intelligence, understand challenges, and ensure that our offers, value prop and pricing are simple and effective
Qualifications
What You bring
  • Post-secondary degree in Commerce, or Business Administration, or similar education/experience with a deep understanding of business analysis
  • Experience collecting and analyzing competitive intelligence, and other data as part of key strategic marketing and/or pricing initiatives
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas and translate them into creative and practical strategies, regardless of audience (peers or senior leadership)
  • Flexible and excellent time management skills to handle multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong people skills and the ability to develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
  • Motivated and action-oriented drive, accountable to the business, and adaptable with a positive attitude

Salary Range: $70,000-$104,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 12%
