Job Description
On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join an ERP implementation team!
Responsibilities:- Create detailed functional specifications based on comprehensive analysis of business requirements.
- Assist and contribute to technical specifications, including Integration and Data Migration Specifications.
- Provide analysis and support for systems configuration, systems integration, and reporting teams.
- Assist with process adoption, process automation/workflow, and testing.
- Actively participate in project teams, product demonstrations, and project status meetings.
- Generate and provide project reports and deliverables.
- Conduct thorough Fit Gap/Gap Analysis to identify gaps between current and desired states.
- Liaise with business and technical stakeholders through interviews and other communications to gather requirements and facilitate communication.
- Understand and document the current state, challenges, and future state objectives.
- Assist in and support SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
- Document workflow processes to provide clear, detailed descriptions of business processes.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business analysis for complex business transformation initiatives within multi-entity organizational environments.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder priorities, resolve issues, and navigate complex transformations.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in effective prioritization of tasks and activities, using various inputs and checks to ensure proper prioritization.
- At least 5 years of experience engaging with business unit and technical subject matter experts for requirements elicitation and process definition.
- At least 5 years of experience in interactive communication and presentation, including eliciting requirements, facilitating workshops, and prioritizing requirements.
- Minimum 5 years of experience producing visual business process models and architecture diagrams.
- At least 5 years of experience developing operational procedures, standards, and policies to achieve business outcomes.
- Experience in at least one cloud SaaS implementation with significant business transformation is preferred.
- Experience with ERP solutions, especially in Human Resources, Finance, and/or Procurement, is preferred.
- A University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, a related discipline, or a certification in Information Technology from a recognized community college. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Current certification from a recognized professional business analysis association, such as PMI-PBA or IIBA-CBAP, is required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders at various levels, including business owners and executive-level directors and VPs.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and research skills to dig deeper and uncover insights.
- Proficiency in producing detailed deliverables from communications and interactions, such as presentations and reports.
