OrganizationFounded in 2022, Saku Monsters is a Montreal based blockchain company that sells digital collectibles similar to Tamagotchi and Pokemon. Our team consists of 15 highly motivated individuals, including developers, designers, product engineers and QA testers. Saku Monsters is a fast paced environment that offers flexible hours and a very creative team.ResponsibilitiesHandle the backend infrastructure to support website and app functionality.Design and maintain robust APIs for client-side consumption.Maintain database systems for high performance and reliability.Implement security protocols, build secure code, and safeguard data integrity.Monitor and improve backend performance by profiling and troubleshooting code.Work closely with project managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders.Have experience or interest in learning about the crypto space.RequirementsExtensive experience with Nodejs (express)TypescriptPostgresRedisRabbitMQ or equivalentKnowledge of Graph QLExperience working with any monitoring tools (sentry, datadog, newrelic)Experience / knowledge of crypto / blockchainPrisma (asset)Firebase (asset)Solana or any Web3 knowledge / experience (asset)ProcessScreening call / portfolio request (GitHub or equivalent)Formal interview (Google Meets)Background checkReference checkOffer / Contract
