You work well with colleagues, partners andclients and have great communication skills.ResponsibilitiesProactive collaboration in the project team to help develop the productusing your experience to help guide the team through the entire developmentlifecycle Ensuring code quality and governance Ensuring engineers follow any patterns/designs set out and agreed withproject leadsPlanning, estimating, and contributing to the architecture, coding, anddevelopment Refactoring and continuous improvements of the codebases Ensuring that technical decisions and information are communicatedthoroughly to the global team Taking responsibility for releases and contributing to the ongoingsupport of live apps Looking beyond pure programming, get involved with the deployment andoperation of the software we build (DevOps) Delivering fair outcomes for our customers, ensuring conduct maintainsa high level of professionalismRequirementsBasic qualificationsStrong Java development experience (6+ years)Python development experience (3+ years)Experience with AWS cloud environment (4+ years)Typescript development experience (2+ years)Experience building scalable software services (e.g., serverless,microservices.)Strong OOD skills; knowledge of design principles, patterns, and bestpracticesStrong database modelling skills; experience with both relational andNoSQL databasesExperience working in mixed-discipline project teams following AgilemethodologyExperience working directly with clients and other project stakeholdersto define and refine requirementsStrong English skills (written and verbal.)Preferred QualificationsExperience with DDDExperience with TDDExperience with using and/or configuring CI/CD pipelinesThe position is open to anyone, but you must be located inCanada.
