What You Will Be Responsible For:Acting as a trusted advisor to our customers in various engagements, ranging from technical development and product support to business analysisServing as a subject matter expert for broad and complex technical issues by providing first call resolution by phone and emailDesigning, writing, and enhancing tools for both internal and external facing usersTraining customers on best practice usage of the platformUsing your knowledge and insight into customers’ needs to assist other teams in better servicing our clients while enhancing the platformPromoting and enhancing self-serve offerings for our customersContributing to team improvement by identifying process and technical gapsMaintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, measured through surveys and feedbackThis Role’s Requirements:B.S. Degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a leading UniversityProficiency with the web stack and web services applicationsWorking understanding of relational and no-SQL database conceptsKnowledge of LinuxBasic understanding of object oriented programming and scriptingExcellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to determine the root cause of issuesExceptional verbal and written communication in articulating problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiencesNice To Have Skills:Experience with Java, servlets, and/or J2EE framework developmentApache, nginx, Tomcat administrationOracle PL/SQL experienceExperience building RESTful services in NodeJSJavaScript, JQuery, Freemarker, CSS, HTML, and related front end technologiesDocker containerization, virtualizationBasic networking knowledgeProficiency with Linux and command line environmentsWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.Physical DemandsThis role requires sitting or standing at a computer workstation for extended periods of time.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
