These positions require engineers to engage in the full breadth of the development programme in a very hands-on environment. Tasks will include design, procurement, inspection, assembly, testing, maintenance, analysis – the engineers will interact at all levels of development. Testing will involve LH2 and LO2 and other cryogenic medium, and multi-fuel turbine engines. Must be willing to work with a very lean team of Propulsion engineers and on an aggressive testing programme. These positions can be very demanding in terms of time allocation. Requirements: Must be a UK Citizen. Some international travel to the USA, Canada, and Europe may be required from time to time. Preference will be given to hands on experienced personnel having worked on rocket engines, turbine engines and other rotating equipment. Experience in design, testing, fatigue, stress analysis and maintenance of turbine engines and other air breathing engines will be an asset. A BSc., MSc, or PhD degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Must be a certified C.Eng or eligible to obtain C.Eng certification Doctorate, Masters or Bachelors in engineering would be preferred but not a pre-requisite for this position. A proven track record is critical for this position. Must be willing to travel to the US, Canada and other parts of Europe when required. Must operate without supervision and take lead for business development of Space Engine Systems Limited (UK). Minimizing cost and closing major contracts quickly is very important for this position. The candidate can be based anywhere in the UK but must be willing to travel to Cornwall on short notice. BDM will report to the CEO of Space Engine Systems Ltd. of UK.#J-18808-Ljbffr
