Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba - In Office
Pay: $80K - $100K
About the Company:We are partnered with a Structural Consulting Firm to help them find a Senior Accountant for their Winnipeg office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate tax filings.
- Supervise accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
- Manage payroll and accounts payable.
- Process intercompany transactions and document financial processes.
- Maintain internal controls and assist with month-end tasks.
- Communicate effectively with customers and vendors.
- Support administrative functions.
Requirements:
- Know QuickBooks.
- Understand accruals, GST/HST, and PST.
- Experience in multi-company or multi-country settings is a plus.
- Skilled in payroll, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management.
- Prefer exposure to foreign exchange transactions.
- Have solid accounting experience.
- Enrolled in a mid-level or higher CPA program.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Excellent communication skills, focusing on clarity.
