Job Description
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage and maintain the company's QuickBooks system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Conduct variance analysis and identify trends to provide actionable insights to management.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) or actively working towards one.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate and timely financial reports.
