You will play a crucial role in assisting some of the world's foremost talent in attaining remarkable success, all while enriching your own knowledge and personal growth in the process.POSITION OVERVIEW:Our Senior Accountant - Client Advisors deliver a comprehensive approach to meet the financial needs of our clients. They provide outstanding support on a daily basis, ensuring client satisfaction and a positive working relationship. They’re big thinkers, creative problem solvers and subject matter experts on everything from sports and entertainment to business tech and more. They have strong financial and analytical skills and can look beyond just the numbers.Key Responsibilities:Act as a trusted accountant - client advisor to clients, understanding their business and delivering on client expectations.Monitor financial performance of clients, providing guidance and escalating concerns to management.Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and strategies tailored to clients’ specific needs.Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports and services, including monthly management report, commission reports, royalty reports, net worth statements, burn rate, run rate, cashflow, AR/AP, net cash position, and client payroll.Create budgets and estimate forecasts based on client’s performance.Prepare compilation engagements/tax returns and conduct annual tax filing and delivery.Oversee Client Administrators and bookkeeping team, reviewing assigned tasks and approving initiated payments.Service client ad hoc financial requests with administrative support where needed.Qualifications :Strong understanding of business management, accounting, and financial principles.Knowledge in filing HST/GST returns and preparing T4s.Exposure to corporate and personal tax.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.Proficiency in using accounting software (QuickBooks Online) and MS Office Suite.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.Requirements :2 or more years’ experience with full cycle bookkeeping and engagements, preferably with owner-managed businesses.Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.Salary :Commensurate with experience.This is a hybrid position. You will be expected to work on-site in our Markham office the first three months, then move into a hybrid role with a minimum of two days in the office.#J-18808-Ljbffr
