IntroductionUnder the supervision of the Vice President of Sales, in Canada, the Senior Account Manager is tasked with overseeing and expanding retail sales, wholesale, and food services for our client. This pivotal role necessitates close collaboration with the Canadian Sales, Marketing, and meat processing operations teams to achieve shareholder expectations in terms of growth, returns, customer service, and upholding company values.Responsibilities:Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and Marketing teams to develop annual sales plans aligned with overall strategies.Create customer-specific retail and wholesale sales business plans in line with organizational objectives.Assist in planning, developing, and distributing promotional and sales materials.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with major retail, wholesale, and food service customers.Identify and engage potential customers and distribution channels to expand business opportunities.Coordinate with Transportation and Logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.Monitor inventory levels at storage centers and ensure proper product rotation.Collaborate with Procurement team to confirm monthly and seasonal inventory orders.Maintain regular communication with major suppliers to stay informed about market trends.Achieve financial, customer, product, and business goals on a monthly and annual basis.Prepare monthly territory reports, analyzing customer products and market activity.Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth, collaborating with Marketing team.Work closely with Sales team to identify and convert new business opportunities.Make recommendations for pursuing and converting opportunities.RequirementsUnderstanding of selling fresh and frozen attribute-based premium grass-fed protein (beef, lamb, venison, mutton, and goat) is an asset.Fluency in both English and FrenchMinimum of 5 years in retail, wholesale, and food services sales with a focus on developing and implementing sales and strategy.Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, influencing, and negotiation skills.Thorough understanding of the retail, wholesale, and food services business, including setting sales budgets, creating sales and marketing strategies, and executing forward sales plans. Ability to assist in creating promotional campaigns across all media and platforms.Ability to analyze key drivers, opportunities, and competitive advantages to develop and execute strategies.Understanding of and a track record in securing supply to ensure fulfillment of customer needs.Open to taking on additional responsibilities assigned by the V.P. Sales Canada to support the achievement of annual and strategic business goals.Customer-centric focus, willing to work in the office Monday to Friday, with flexibility for travel to meet customers or visit stores or warehouses.What We OfferWhy work with Brunel?
