Job Description

We’re looking for a personable, experienced Senior Account Executive to join our fast-growing SaaS company, as one of the first boots on ground in the North American market.

Within this role, you’ll work within a high-performing Commercial team to onboard some of the most exciting D2C brands across the world - helping them better understand the power of Advocacy and how the Duel platform can help them empower their communities of advocates. Using your charm, creative flair and your genuine desire to help people achieve their goals - you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end sales process - from potential prospect, through close, implementation and expansion.

THE COMPANY

Duel was founded by world-record-breaking adventurer and former brand ambassador Paul Archer, alongside viral games developer Naio Tsarouchis.

The Duel team comprises psychologists, brand experts and community builders from companies including Amazon, Treatwell, Bain, Mimecast and Lululemon as well as young entrepreneurs, psychologists and other exceptional talents.

THE ROLE

Your role will be to manage the end-to-end sales process for prospective Duel clients, from initial discovery through to closing. You’ll take a long term view and help brands scale advocacy using our technology in the most appropriate way for their business.

  • Hustle & Qualification
    • Building a network of marketing professionals at brands through email, LinkedIn and other channels

    • Collaborate with Content, Partnership, Marketing & Business Development teams to grow pipeline

    • Networking and developing meaningful relationships with potential contacts and adding value at every opportunity

  • Discovery Calls, Product Demos & Workshops
    • Holding discovery calls with brands to help educate them on the various Duel offerings, as well as working out the best course of action for the support we can offer

    • Work with other Brand Advocacy Consultants to educate prospective clients through the Duel platform, explaining the features and benefits

    • Work with the Strategy & Brand Partner teams to understand, scope and design Brand Advocacy programs

  • Closing
    • Build and propose bespoke Brand Advocacy programs to brands, negotiating the deal and guiding it through to close

  • Product
    • Through training, you will use your detailed understanding of the Duel product and how it works, and be able to use critical thinking skills to align a brand’s specific need with the power of Duel

  • CRM
    • Using our CRM (HubSpot) to track all your conversations so you never lose sight of the brands in our community

  • Market and Industry
    • Having a passion for the brand and retail industry: how it works, who fits in it and how to navigate it

EXPERIENCE

  • 360/Full Cycle Sales Experience: Sales Development Representative, Business Development and/or Account Management experience in a similar role required

  • Experience selling into C-level

  • Experience in selling SaaS and/or marketing products & services

  • Ideally, you’ll have experience working in a high-growth tech startup
