Job Description

Ameresco is actively seeking a talentedSeniorAccountExecutiveto strategically drive sales of energyefficiency, renewable energy, and advanced technology solutions across multiple marketsectors.The successful candidate will be able to build key customer relationships, identify businessopportunities, propose, win, negotiate and secure contracts, and maintain extensive knowledge ofcurrent market conditions.Responsibilities:Possess a thorough knowledge of the energy, renewables, and advanced technology markets,trends, and issues to ensure full discovery and understanding of customers' primary businessobjectives and requirements.Cultivate effective business relationships and communicate the full scope of Amerescosolutionsand services to meet customer energy savings requirements.Drive winning proposal strategy, contribute to written proposal content, and prepare and presentsolutions to customers.Target and contact key decision-makers and develop positive relationships to secure new projectsopportunities, sales volume, and market share.Monitor account plan progress, including market conditions, customers' needs, competitive activity,and provide progress and execution updates through expert use of corporate CRM.Work together with technical and development teams to ensure achievement of customersatisfaction.Perform other duties as required.MinimumQualifications:Bachelor'sDegreeorequivalentyearsofrelatedsalesexperienceinlieuofdegree.Minimum 7 years progressive experience in the sale of complex energy efficiency, renewablegeneration, and advanced technology solutions within energy services and target markets.AdditionalQualifications:Active progress toward industry-related or advanced education preferred.Ability to identify customer energy needs, effectively communicate energy solutions, and positionAmeresco as the provider of choice.Proven track record of securing sales of complex offerings from top-level management.Demonstrated sales lead development and account cultivation skills, including effective negotiationand closing techniques.Excellent verbal, written, computer communication, and technical presentation skills.Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and positive business relationships.Valid Drivers' License in good standing, issued by the resident state required.Travel required.Read the full posting.#J-18808-Ljbffr
