We are looking for a Security Site Manager for a high profile office building in Downtown Core.
Main Duties/Responsibilities for this position:
- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to safeguard the commercial tower
- Create, maintain, and update Emergency response plans
- Lead and manage a skilled security team to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Scheduling of staff and last minute book offs when required
- Complete training and development for new and existing staff
- Monitor CCTV systems, access control, and other security technologies to identify and respond to potential threats
- Enforce rules, regulations, and policies
- Conduct performance reviews for staff
- Provide detailed written reports as required
- Collaborate with property management and external stakeholders to address security concerns.
Key Skills/Qualifications required for this position:
- Minimum of 3 years Supervisory experience in a commercial tower
- Proven experience as a Security Manager or in a senior security management role.
- A degree or college diploma in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively resolve client issues in a professional manner
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Access preferred
- Ability to collect, analyze and present data in business meetings
- Ability to identify issues with personnel and develop/implement an action plan to address
- Experience in Scheduling, Operations, CCTV monitoring, access control systems
- Ability to make quick, sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
