As a Security Investigator at HTG, you will play a pivotal role in conducting thorough security investigations in collaboration with our government client. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and conducting interviews, preparing detailed reports, and providing insightful recommendations based on your findings. This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to always uphold confidentiality and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule interviews with individuals involved in the investigation or resolution of doubt process.
- Ensure availability of interview rooms or locations conducive to conducting confidential interviews.
- Distribute necessary forms (e.g., Declaration, Acknowledgement, and Consent Form) to individuals scheduled for interviews.
- Ensure all required forms are completed and signed by the interviewees prior to conducting the interview.
- Conduct thorough security or administrative interviews with individuals based on established protocols and guidelines.
- Utilize effective interview techniques to gather relevant information and insights.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism throughout the interview process.
- Prepare a comprehensive report for each interview conducted.
- Include detailed findings from the interview, assessments made based on gathered information, and any recommendations deemed necessary.
- Ensure the report is clear, concise, and accurately reflects the interviewer’s conclusions and observations.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies during the interview and investigation process.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders or departments as needed to gather additional information or insights.
- Maintain accurate records of all interviews and related documentation.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills related to interview techniques and investigative procedures.
Required skills and experience:
- Bilingual (French and English) is mandatory
- Secret Clearance is mandatory
- Proven experience in conducting security or administrative interviews preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain neutrality and objectivity during interviews
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with legal and ethical considerations related to investigations
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
