Purpose of the Role:
The Sealing system is an enabling technology element of Svante’s carbon capture machines. The technical challenge facing the seal system is unique and extremely challenging to solve. A dedicated seals development team has been established with extremely competent technical leadership. This team is delivering conceptual solutions with very promising results.To build on the concept and ensure delivery of an optimized system, the seals team needs to create and follow a robust product development plan. Working collaboratively as an integral member of the team, as the Seals Team Project Engineer, you will capture and communicate the development plan and then ensure it is efficiently executed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- You have a degree in Engineering or are a technologist with - years of relevant experience.
- You have worked in a field of new technology which you have taken from initial concept to a controlled, manufactured product that was proven to meet customer and manufacturing requirements.
- You have utilized robust product development tools and can clearly articulate what they are and how they should be used in a lean and efficient method.
- You have worked in a team of mixed skills and strengths and can illustrate how you were able to play to the strengths and significantly contribute to the creation of a high functioning team.
Bonus Skills and Qualifications:
You have Business education or experience with startup.
What Success looks like in this role:
You will develop and maintain project schedules (level , level - managed by Product Delivery), ensuring alignment with overall project goals. You will prepare detailed project plans, including task breakdowns, milestones, and resource allocation. You will monitor project progress, renew and update identified risks, and plan for implementing mitigation strategies.You will coordinate team members’ activities, ensuring optimal resource utilization. You will collaborate with the technology lead to allocate resources effectively across projects.You will review, develop, and audit supplier alternatives in combination with Global Supply Chain, Quality and Seals team engineers.
