Job Description The incumbent will be responsible for adjusting the short-term work schedules for the various teams involved in airport operations. Ensures the proper assignment of short-term manpower for all targeted functions to ensure sound management, in accordance with the organization's needs.  Responsibilities Adjusts work schedules for the various groups involved in operational activities for all functions targeted by airport operations. Controls the management of overtime: Provides the planner with feedback on planning and workforce objectives: maximizing efficiency and meeting our service levels. Ensures, in collaboration with the management team, short-term forecast and monitoring of manpower requirements in relation to the needs and peak periods of operations. Ensures the reassignment and optimal planning of schedules for ad hoc requirements in line with the change in workforce availability ( absences, constraints of current activity) Identifies applicable training needs for its planning and ensures workload balancing to ensure sound management of working hours. Provides management reports to establish indicators and findings related to coordination of short-term schedule. Ensures that any operational issues having a potential impact on the quality of our services are communicated to his/her immediate superior. Ensures compliance with budgetary obligations to ensure consistency with financial and operational objectives. Performs all other tasks related to his/her field of expertise. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent experience 3 to 5 year’s experience relevant to the airline industry Experience in planning and scheduling systems Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word experience in management and organization Excellent organizational and planning skills Excellent communication skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Additional Information Rotating schedule (day, evening, night) Employment Equity At Transat, we foster an environment where inclusiveness, respect and equity reign.
