Role Overview A full-time opportunity for a professional with SAP project implementation / functional experience to become an integral part of the SAP Support team. This position will play a key role in supporting the strategic expansion of the SAP ERP system in operations, sustaining SAP procedures through supply chain, maintenance, and manufacturing processes to the final product, lithium. The position will work closely with the SAP, Operations and Finance team and will report to Senior Director Business Controls, ERP and Risk. This position is based in our Vancouver office and forms an integral part of our SAP Support team, leveraging the Company’s selected ERP system in an environment that is shifting from developing to a producing company. You will be working collaboratively across our Canadian and US-based teams supporting the expansion and enhancement of the SAP landscape. Responsibilities Lead the planning and implementation of assigned SAP projects. Provide project management expertise to various project work streams through out project life cycle. Identify and evaluate SAP project risks and issues, maintaining the quality and standards required by the corporate governance policies. Establish and build relationship across the Company to facilitate achievement of the SAP expansion into operations. Consult with stakeholders to collate and validate business requirements, converting requirements into SAP requirements. Manage SAP changes requested by the business, ensuring that the required system controls and processes. Provide direction and support to stakeholders in the execution of the project. Manage project changes orders, including tracking, negotiating, process and assessing cost and schedule impacts. Participate in ongoing development and improvement of SAP processes and procedures by sharing best practice and experience with team members. Provide input into the SAP system controls and security design to strengthen the current design. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related business discipline. PMP certificate is an asset, but not a requirement. Experience with SAP process, design, process mapping and documentation. 5+ years of SAP systems experience in a functional / implementation capacity required. Experience in developing detailed project plans using management tools and methodologies. History of working in a team environment, effectively motivating people and maintaining effective relationships with the Leadership, Finance and Operational teams. Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Comfort with a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Ability to travel to the Reno office and project site.
