Mandate summary
Our client is looking for an experienced IT program manager as part of a bold plan to transform its technologies towards SAP suite solutions notably S/4 Hana as well as the Success Factors.
The Expert / leader in major implementation (preferably SAP) will have the mandate to positively restructure through positive executive leadership as part of a recovery of the ERP system deployment program.
The candidate will be responsible for analyzing the issues and obstacles putting the project at risk, to propose appropriate recovery strategies to deploy, direct, mobilize and maintain the health of the program and manage its execution by collaboration with the existing program management team.
Responsibilities
Due to its strategic importance, this position will report to the President and CEO; the responsibility to deliver the expected results in terms of quality, schedules, budget and high mobilization of the project team are the main deliverables.
The program manager will be responsible for the management and coherent integration of all projects resulting from the implementation of SAP S/4 Hana and Success Factors during the period of the contract.
The candidate will first play a recovery role. Will assess the current situation of projects, establish an exhaustive diagnosis, review the organization and governance, collaborate with the appropriate audit bodies for a project of this scale, evaluate the progress current, plan milestones, steps and checkpoints to increase readiness proactive implementation activities and reduce talent, financial and operational.
Will also have to review, realign and propose a roadmap allowing achieving the targeted results. Will have to review and put in place the appropriate teams as well to ensure that working methods, tools and measures are based on the best project management practices. Will have to lead proactively with the teams appropriate execution of projects aimed at achieving objectives. Will ensure that he/she establishes effective and productive collaboration with the integrator as well as measuring objectives that he must meet. The program manager will be responsible for managing the relationship with the systems integrator selected for the deployment of the SAP S/4 Hana and SuccessFactor solution.
In conjunction with the company's management, he will develop and execute a plan to build skills and develop ways of doing things internally at the client so that teams are autonomous.
Required Qualifications
- 15 years of experience in program management or major project implementation business solution (ideally SAP but JDE, ORACLE experience acceptable)
- Experience in project recovery essential
- Experience in managing relationships with large-scale integrators
- Experience in managing relationships with executives essential
- University degree in computer science, engineering, or other relevant discipline, or equivalent experience relevant.
- PMP an asset.
- SAP certification an important asset (MM, SD, WM, FICO)
- Expert of recognized project methodologies (Activate, Agile) or other methodology desired.
- Ability to work in complex environments essential.
- Logistics chain expertise demonstrated in regulated contexts desired.
- Expertise in Financial, Payroll and Human Resources processes desired.
- Expertise in the regulated medical, pharmaceutical or biological environment desired.
- Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices desired
- Experience and skill in relationships with integrators.
- Demonstrated team leadership.
- Ability to organize and mobilize teams
Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
