Job Description

Adecco is seeking a full-time SAP Plant Maintenance Data Technician for a reputable oil and gas company in Lloydminster, SK. This 1-year contract role involves working within the SAP Master Data Team to ensure the accurate digital representation of the company's facility, well, and equipment data in a Maintenance Management System (SAP). The ideal candidate will have a technical background and experience with data management, data governance, and data administration of Maintenance Management Systems such as SAP, Maximo, JD Edwards, or similar.Location: Lloydminster, SK | In-OfficeJob type: Full-time | 1-Year ContractShifts: Monday-Friday | 8 hours/dayHere’s why you should apply: Free access to our Aspire Academy for continuing professional educationHires fast, pays weeklyVacation pay paid out on each weekly pay chequeMedical and dental benefits once qualifiedFree training programsNew and quicker onboarding processDuties and Responsibilities:Perform data management activities within SAP Plant Maintenance, including verifying data accuracy, executing data changes, and performing data cleansing.Collaborate with maintenance, operations, construction, and engineering teams to load equipment data into SAP.Comply with data standards, procedures, and best practices while improving work process efficiency.Work independently, making decisions based on standards and training, with guidance on complex issues.Interpret data reports, technical documents, engineered drawings, and various data sources to ensure high accuracy and quality.Influence stakeholders to maintain data quality standards.Act as a coach and trainer to colleagues and other SAP users.Receive and review asset data change requests from business stakeholders.Create SAP work tickets and assign them to the appropriate SAP Technician for completion.Process work tickets to create/update SAP Function Location, Equipment, and Assembly master data.Complete assigned work tickets according to priority and timelines.Verify asset data accuracy through investigation, document review, conversations, audits, etc., and correct discrepancies before loading into SAP.Work with technical drawings, calibration reports, assessment reports, inspection reports, service reports, audits, etc.Coach and mentor team members to ensure knowledge transfer and skill sharing.Create and maintain work instructions specific to this position.Requirements and Qualifications:High School Diploma requiredBusiness/Technical Diploma or equivalent training is an asset2 years of experience with Microsoft Office:Excel: Analyze data using sorting, filtering, data transformation, pivot tables, and graphs; ability to learn and apply formulas to large data sets.Outlook: Manage emails and calendar for scheduling meetings and time management.Word: Create professional documents such as work instructions and procedures.Experience with SAP PM, HR, FI, MM, BW is an asset.Knowledge of oil and gas equipment is an asset.Excellent attention to detail and accurate information assessment for decision-making.Strong critical thinking skills to investigate and determine action plans.Effective communication skills with field and office personnel.Team player capable of collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve success.Ability to adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines.Proficient in organizing and managing multiple work streams.Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
