About the Salesforce Solution Consultant PositionTerrific opportunity for a Salesforcesubject matter expert to take on a functional leadership role withinVerndale!The Solution Consultantwill drive solution architecture in sales pursuits, be a trusted client advisor and ensure consistent delivery for clients in the Salesforce space. The Solution Consultantserves asa subjectmatter expert in a skill and/or solution and is responsible for client delivery, proposals, new business opportunities, and knowledge management. The Solution Consultantworks closely withclientstofacilitate business process analysis sessions,understandand documentrequirementsandenable the authoring/development of quality solutions that meet thoserequirements.ResponsibilitiesGuide clients through the implementation of Salesforce solutionsServes as the technical leader for Salesforce projects onsite at client locationsTranslates business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platforms and productsProvide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution’s feasibility and functionalityDesign elegant, innovative Salesforce solutions involvingconfiguration of Salesforce and Managed Packages, creation and refinement of complex data models, external integration, business process automation, and other custom functionalityDraft custom development specifications and manage the delivery and testing of the functionality by Development resourceProvide hands-on, expert-level technical assistance to developersDesign and manage the execution of test plans to ensure a quality solution is deliveredFollow and understand new Salesforceproductand technical capabilities resulting from product releases and acquisitionsProvide expertise during sales efforts to estimate the technical level of effortParticipate in marketing events (e.g.sales meetings)Collaboration with Project Managertofacilitatestakeholderexpectations,identify projectissues, risks and present alternativestoalleviate orresolve those issuesQualifications7+ years of CRMprocess design and implementationexperienceMinimum 3 years of Salesforce platform experienceProven ability to design and optimize business processes andconsiderintegrationsacross disparate systemsExcellent client-facing written and oral communications skillsActive Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hireKnowledge of tools/applications such asExcel,Data Loaderused for analysis andprocessingdataExposure to enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation, and load (ETL) toolsTen Great Reasons to Work at VerndaleWe are a rapidly growing company that is just as entrepreneurial today as when we were founded in 1998.
