Job Description

The sales engineer will provide technical pre/post-sales support for RAN solutions in Canada. This role includes the creation of customized product and service solutions, bid support and implementation support. The sales engineer will assess products and services to meet customer needs and will develop product specifications. They will also create commercial solutions for product development and implementation. In addition, they will provide post-sale technical expertise during the installation, implementation and maintenance of our solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist sales team in all phases of the selling process.Interact with internal and external customers.Work with Account managers to identify/qualify customer & prospect opportunities & define requirementsWork with Product Managers to reflect customer requirements in feature set & road mapContribute to the development and refinement of Mavenir’s Open RAN vision and strategyLead, manage & provide direct technical input to customer RFXs.Understand pricing mechanisms and support sales team in building commercial proposals.Maintain contact and open communication with customers to assist with future needs.Active in tender submissions .Preparation of technical sales materials including collateral, quotation, timeline, project plan and solution proposals.Lead POC activities with customersCreate content to support the technical strength of the Mavenir solutionsJob RequirementsExcellent understanding of LTE/5G RAN solutions including O-RAN, radio technology and RAN software featuresGood understanding of the RAN (4/5G) developmentSolid understanding of in carrier grade container environmentsStrong understanding of the Canadian Radio marketHighly proficient listener & consultative sales style with the ability to shape customer thinkingExcellent communications skills in verbal, written and presentation forms at senior levelsAcute attention to detail & organizationEnergetic and creative with an upbeat, positive attitudeA team player who works well with others, who has strong influencing skills, and is creative and entrepreneurialSignificant, proven and demonstrable cellular wireless industry experienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering
