Job Description

Provide direct support to the Sales Team (RSMs and BDMs) in the advancement of existing and potential Delta Partners and Corporate Accounts. This position will coordinate between departmental/LOB teams within Delta Controls, liaise with Delta Electronics, engage with Delta Partners, Corporte Accounts, Field Device vendors and other external stakeholders accordingly to handle prospective business leads, sales inquiries, and technical proposals and ensure customer satisfaction, in a lead supporting sales role for the global RSM & BDM teams.Delta Controls is the benchmark for building controls manufacturers, being one of the most respected organizations in our industry, with more than 300 Partners/Distributors in over 80 countries. This role owns all HQ/factory related support and coordination, following sales processes and updating CRM accordingly.Assist Delta Partners and RSMs with pricing and prepare project-specific or application specific quotations for them accordingly, .Assist Delta Partners and RSMs with commercial and technical queries, including RFP/RFI responses and specification reviews (noting how we do/do not comply).Supporting Corporate Accounts, as required, with quotations and proposals for turnkey solutions by working closely with the BDM and PDS teams.Along with the Consultant Specialists, assist the Sales Team with specification writing to gain competitive advantages in their market(s).Provide support for presentations and demonstrations to End Users, Specifying Engineers, General Contractors, M&E/general contractors, architects and prospective Delta Partners. This will typically be PowerPoint slides and technical materials, presented remotely and, at times, in-person at the HQ/factory or customer site.Provides RSM and Delta Partner with sales ideas and strategies to utilize Delta Electronics group and other Field Device vendors products to further grow business and generate revenue for Delta Controls.Assist Product Management/Strategy to ensure future products in the roadmap will meet customer requirements, providing technical and commercial input accordingly.Collect and distribute competitive information to assist Delta Partners efforts in their market(s).Coordinate between PDS, Product LOBs, Orders Team, and various Delta Electronics group and/or other Field Device vendor Contacts to ensure that the specification, purchase and delivery of the respective products meets customer requirements, both generally as well as for specific projects.Match incoming PO or contracts against existing quotations and investigate discrepancies as required.Monitor and respond to email correspondence and phone calls, including the Sales Support phone line, and assist with general inquiries or appoint as necessary.Redirect End Users to their local Delta Partner, or investigate further if necessary (i.e. contact existing Delta Partners within the region to determine original installer, or current Owner of building / project in question).Monitor and filter incoming leads.Liaise between Partner and RMA on advance replacements and software upgrades.Attend monthly Sales Meetings, as well as Webinar tutorials on new products released.Build and maintain positive relationships with Delta customers.Other related duties as assigned.Job RequirementsProficiency with the MS Office Suite.Outstanding interpersonal communication skills with emphasis on communication and team work.Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize.Strong analytical abilities with emphasis on problem solving.Working knowledge of building automation system technology and HVAC systems.Some international travel is required, must have a valid passport.Minimum QualificationsDiploma, associates, or bachelors degree in Building Services Technology (i.e. electro-mechanical systems for HVAC, lighting, security) or equivalent practical experience.Minimum of three years experience in sales, account management or technical support role preferred.Minimum of three years experience in the Building Services Technology/Building Automation Systems industry.Experience with AutoCAD and Visio is preferred.Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors, including but not limited to a candidates qualifications, relevant education and training, competencies, experience, geographic location, and business needs. Base pay is only one component of the total compensation package and is subject to change, which may be modified in the future
