We are seeking a qualified sales development representative (SDR) to research, qualify and reach out to potential customers who can benefit from our services & software partnerships. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs (sales development representatives) have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. You should be a quick learner with effective communication skills and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way, while answering high-level queries related to our software & services. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability. The Sales Development Representative is tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound activities. The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out of the box, easily initiates relaxed, but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects and is highly self-motivated. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company’s needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically. Objectives of this Role Generate leads and build relationships by staying in touch with cold leads, nurturing warm prospects, and finding new potential sales outlets Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for the next steps Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts Identify key players, research, and obtain business requirements, and present solutions to begin the sales cycle Set appointments for the sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage Drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, set meetings for conferences Ensure successful follow-through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) application Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or at least 3+ years of relevant work experience 2-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets Persuasive communication skills via phone and email Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills Fervent desire and ability to move up within a sales organization Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with Sales Navigator or other CRM software Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotas
