Job Description

MAV Beauty, holding company for Marc Anthony True Professional, Cake Beauty, Renpure, and The Mane Choice, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Sales Manager- US Mass & Drug to join our team. This position is responsible for driving & executing a retail sales plan for a mix of retail & distributor partners that will result in the delivery of sales and profit growth of existing and new business. This is a hybrid role that requires working from home and our corporate office in Vaughan, Ontario, with 15% expected travel to drive collaboration and deepen relationships with one another.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, buyers, and distributor partners.
  • Work collaboratively through the Joint Business Planning process to formulate and execute plans to drive profitable growth for the brands.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure all needs are communicated clearly and timelines are met.
  • Responsible for P&L and trade fund management including tracking, analysis of trade spend, markdown planning & deduction process.
  • Manage each account budget by monitoring sales trends to ensure account profitability with clearly established growth and distribution targets.
  • Develop and execute promotional plans and identify opportunities to drive revenue aligning with internal objectives.
  • Conduct post-promotional analysis, provide insights and recommendations for future planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including order management, demand planning, finance, and marketing to achieve brand goals and prioritize opportunities.
  • Administrative & account maintenance: Must have strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and trackers.


Position Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree is a requirement.
  • 4+ years of Sales, Account Management, Merchandising, or Category Management experience is required.
  • CPG industry experience desired
  • Strategic and proactive thinking to develop sales strategies and translate them into distribution, shelving, pricing, and merchandising objectives.
  • Ability to identify risks and opportunities and prepare contingency plans.
  • Interpersonal skills to interface effectively with the necessary stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive analytic abilities to understand market trends, future opportunities and develop strategies to close gaps and increase sales.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and relationship building skills.
  • High sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership of the end-to-end process.
  • Deep understanding of the retailer/supplier relationship and overall process.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • High proficiency with advanced skills in Microsoft systems (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of A.C. Nielsen/ IRI, with the ability to interpret and understand market and retailer POS data.
