My client is the leading reseller in Canada, serving Canadian customers coast to coast with a proven track record of innovation in data collection and automated identification data capture (AIDC) solutions.What you’ll do Build, grow and maintain positive relationships and communications with customersEducate, strategize & successfully sell the industries top products from the most well-known brands.Manage sales activity for my client in a specifically defined account base by performing outgoing/incoming telephone and email communications with customers and prospective accounts to develop opportunities and close sales. A successful candidate should have a proven level of sales achievement and the ability to relate to a wide customer base. Training will be provided to develop a broad knowledge of my client's products and services.Job Responsibilities Listen, understand and respond to customer inquiries about products, services, order status, stock availability, order placement and shipment tracking. Provide customers and sales with information regarding order status. Within a revenue generating culture, meet or exceed my client's performance objectives, including sales targets, responsiveness and time management.Collaborate with peers and industry partners to bring the best technology products, services & solutionsAssist in accounts receivable/collections activity where support is required to ensure prompt resolution of outstanding invoices.Research current and potential customers in-order to understand their business to provide knowledge and educate them on the value of working with my client.Manage and document sales activities and communicate progress to sales leadershipContinuously analyze market trends and sales data. Relationships and Roles Establish and maintain excellent relationships with all the departments (Sales, Service, Admin & Support) and related officesPlay an integral role in customer satisfaction by dealing directly with customer to resolve complaints on products and services and escalate to Supervisor when necessary.Develop and maintain relationships with OEM representatives, such as OEM Territory managers, to assist on the closing of deals and future business leads. Negotiate deals to ensure profitability through the use of OEM programs.Maintain relationships with Sales Leadership on hardware and/or software service agreements. Be the lead communicator within their customer account.Required Characteristics Self- Motivated, ambitious, and interested in directly impacting the business landscape through technology solutions related to AIDC, Wireless… solutionsExperience with office machines, proficient in Microsoft Office platforms & professional use of Social Media Platforms.Exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasksAbility to demonstrate resiliency in adverse situations with a natural curiosity & desire to learn, grow and develop your skillsetStrong interpersonal skills, Strong communication skills, both verbal and writtenProfessional telephone manner, must be fluent in English (written & oral)Commitment to customer satisfaction, retention and loyaltyAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentEducation/Experience 0-1 years of sales experiencePost-secondary educationA valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
