The Technology Business Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. Responsibilities:
- Ability to Analyze Capital market data and requirements , identify disparate data sources required for consolidation.
- Document functional specifications and coordinate delivery of the same with technology team.
- Design logical and conceptual wholesale loans data model to meet business requirements.
- Work with the stakeholders to understand and gather requirements and produce business specifications, functional design and associated documentation.
- Validate solution implementations and ensure they meet business and functional requirements.
- Ensure adherence to and develop best practices supporting Client's Project Management Standards
- Ensure the business reporting needs are met with the most elegant and timely technology solutions
- Ensure proper development life cycle is followed with artefacts to support Internal Audit and any inquiries
- Provide production deployment support, and investigate data quality issues.
- Work with various technology leads to ensure the gaps in the data completeness or accuracy are bridged.
- Business/ data analysis experience in financial industry
- Subject matter expertise in financial industry - wholesale loans /lending business
- Experience with database and SQL is required
- Experience in python data analytics
- Excellent documentation, analytical and process-based skills to produce process flow diagrams, business modelling, and functional design.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis
- Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis
- Knowledge of Big Data platform is a huge plus
