Are you a newly graduated RN or an experienced professional? Providence Health Care is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our 6long-term care facilities.

We are hiring for the following location:
- Chenchenstway at 7550 Rosewood St, Burnaby, BC
As a Staff Nurse, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure patients/residents receive comprehensive support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assess patients' physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Incorporate teaching into care plans to educate patients and families
- Make referrals to resources as needed
- Support fellow healthcare professionals
- Operate within the framework of Providence Health Care's mission, vision, and values
What You Bring
Education:
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated competence in performing CPR procedures.
- Experience in teamwork, decision-making and conflict resolution
- Demonstrated a teaching aptitude
- Proficient in clinical leadership
- A strong desire to expand your professional skills and a commitment to lifelong learning in the nursing field

Your Day to Day:
- Conduct thorough resident assessments through chart reviews, observations, interviews, and collaboration with peers
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans based on evidence-based practices, prioritizing resident needs
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and PHC standards while providing high-quality nursing care
- Monitor resident progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed for optimal results
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, care plans, patient/resident status, and discharge plans using manual and computerized systems
- Identify and address resident and family learning needs, providing education and referrals as necessary
- Provide direction to staff, promote teamwork, and share clinical knowledge to enhance patient care
- Support nursing research initiatives and contribute to the improvement of resident care policies and procedures
- Advocate for residents' rights and dignity, facilitate discharge plans, and collaborate with families and community resources
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the healthcare team
