Position: Data Risk Appetite Consultant Location: Remote but based out of Toronto, Canada Duration: 6-9-months contract (possible extensions, possible hire) Shift: 8:30a-5pm CST (flexible) Must-haves: · Bachelor's degree · 5 years of data risk appetite management experience: o Function: Risk or Audit. o Industry: Banking or Financial. o Specialty: Data program negotiation & implementation. · Strong understanding of metrics and reporting. · Proven experience creating and negotiating KRI/KPI (key risk/performance indicators) metrics. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface cross-functionally · Intermediate MS Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables) Plusses: · DCAM Certified. · Six Sigma. Insight Global is seeking a temporary Risk Appetite Consultant to support an established banking client out of Toronto, Canada. This individual will be responsible for understanding, re-negotiating and creating new metrics and KPIs/KRIs for the enterprise risk function of the bank. Day to Day: · Lead the 2nd Line KRI refresh for the RSA (including KRI analysis, back testing, definitions etc.). · Lead the facilitation and development of 1st line KPI/KRIs for CDAO reporting. · Project manage the coordination of metrics data collection within the applicable systems targeted for metrics extraction. · Monitor and report on the status of change requests provided to the various metrics collections systems targeted for the enhanced CDAO KPI/KRI monitoring.
