Retail Finance Manager - Multiple Locations
Our client, a leading player in the agriculture industry, is currently seeking a Retail Finance Manager to oversee operations in one of their four Regions. This role will report directly to the Director of Retail Finance and can be based at any of the client's various locations.
Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to the sales department by facilitating the sales finance process, offering finance training, and assisting with quoting.
  • Collaborating with the Director of Retail Finance to engage Branch/Sales Managers and Territory Managers, ensuring proactive follow-ups on finance leads.
  • Capitalizing on revenue enhancement opportunities, including but not limited to JDF Loan Origination Fees, JDF Compensation, Sentry Insurance, JD PowerGard Protection, and Dealer Service Agreements.
  • Engaging directly with Territory Managers and customers, offering financial advice and tailored solutions.
  • Assisting the Director of Retail Finance in meeting market share targets with both JDF and external lenders.
  • Conducting lien searches on incoming trades and aiding with Lease Maturities.
  • Identifying potential financing needs for customers, including non-John Deere products, and evaluating non-John Deere programs.
  • Staying informed on competitive programs, market trends, and development opportunities.
  • Compiling necessary documentation to facilitate the finance process
Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Degree in Business, Commerce, or related field, or equivalent experience in equipment finance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferably, experience in finance-related roles.
  • Background in the Agriculture Equipment industry is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective customer and team interaction.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Business Management and Industrial Psychology, further enriching her ability to understand the human dynamics involved in recruitment, including personality ‘fit’ in the workplace. Outside of work, she keeps active with her teenager, balancing school, sports and outdoor activities.
