We are looking for a fun and experienced leader who loves A&W as much as they love leading a diverse team from their local community!The Assistant Manager duties include, but are not limited too:Managing the staff to help maintain and achieve restaurant targets and standardsMonitoring and controlling labor costs and food and waste costsWorking as a team with co-workers to achieve service timesSpending reasonable amount of time every shift on the floor supporting and working with employeesCoaching the staff to provide excellent customer service representative of the A&W brand Ensuring all food safety regulations are followedAssisting with hiring, retaining, and terminating employeesAssisting with inventory management Other duties which involve the day to day operation of a fast food restaurantWhat we offer: flexible schedule, on-the-job training, opportunities to advance, health benefitsSome restaurant management experience - one year or more * College or University Education preferred * Food handling certificate * Access to reliable transportation * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Great social skills and love for interacting with other people * A leader and a team player * Basic English language skills
