Residential Window and Door Installation Lead
Job Description:
New Construction and Renovation PVC window installation. Insulated glass sealed units and some residential custom glass. Installation of other architectural products, hands-on service experience with windows and doors in both residential and commercial projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
? Read blueprints, shop drawings or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
? Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
? Install doors and windows using hand and power tools
? Prepare and clean up the work area as necessary
? Process consistency
? Follow all health and safety procedures as necessary
? Must be able to work unsupervised
? Strong leadership abilities.
Qualifications:
? Must currently reside in Canada
? Strong customer service skills are a must
? Ability to think fast on your feet and confidently problem solve on the job site
? Experience installing windows and doors
? Experience with commercial aluminum system an asset
? Able to work independently and/or with a team
? Reliable, independent and organized
? Valid Driver?s License
? Fall arrest training or aerial lift truck knowledge is a strong asset.
? Excellent communication skills (phone, email, reports)
? Attention to detail and respectful to company property/possessions
? Flexible to perform service jobs when required
? Able to read, understand and perform site measurements
? Follow detailed instructions efficiently and effectively
? Willing to travel
Job Type: Full-time
