Job Description
Duties:Coordinating, assigning, and reviewing the work of various security guards such as night security guard and the stationed driveway security guard.Providing personal protection for the client.Assessing risks, vulnerabilities, and threatsEstablishing client’s work schedules in order to coordinate procedures and safety measure with other units or departmentsConducting foot patrols of the client’s residential property to detect and deter unwanted activities and conducting surveillance of activities at various venues and ensuring no other individuals or companies are participating in counter surveillance.Ensure smooth operation of security systems, equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair workMaintaining diligent observation efforts throughout assignments.Resolving work-related problems and performing security advances, as necessary.Produce timely, complete, and articulate Incident Reports and Verbal Reports when necessary.Operating assigned vehicles during client movementsLearning and memorizing entrances, exits and parking situations.Accompanying clients during travel between Canada and the United StatesEnsuring the safety of principal and family membersAssessing risks and planning to minimize threats to establish and maintain secure environmentsMaintaining security of household and vehiclesUsing physical intervention as necessaryResponding to medical emergenciesRequirements:Education in Criminology, Security License, valid drivers licenseValid First Aid and CPR certificateStrong Base Knowledge in all Facets of Protective Operations with a minimum of One Year Experience Working in Corporate Executive ProtectionClose Protection, VIP Protection training is requiredMust have excellent interpersonal and client facing skills.Must be customer service oriented.Must have excellent judgement and decision-making skills.The ability to work independently as well as within a team.Must fluently read, speak and write the English language.Must always be punctual and dependable.Ability to work nights and weekends as required.Employment Address: Head office: 44 East Beaver Creek Road, Unit 16, Richmond Hill, Ontario L4B 1G8Hours of Work: 40 hours/weekLanguage: EnglishBenefits: Eligible for discretionary bonuses and/or salary increases in accordance with company policy.
