Our Downtown Calgary Oil & Gas enterprise client is seeking an Intermediate SAP MM Functional Consultant to provide integration, enhancement, and process improvement support within a S/4 HANA environment. This is an initial 6-month contract with a possibility of extension. The successful candidate may work % remotely following MST working hours.Position Overview:Reporting to the Manager, ERP Applications, the SAP MM Consultant will engage and position with the ERP Competency Centre providing support, enhancement, and growth responsibilities for the SAP S/4 HANA environment. This role is the primary liaison between the SCM Group and the ERP Competency Centre to support and build the relationship and provide solutions and continuous improvement.Must-Haves:7+ years SAP MM Functional experienceExpertise in configuring and implementing core MM and logistics modulesExperience in integration with other core SAP modulesRecent experience supporting and working within a S/4 HANA environmentProficient in business process analysis, documentation, process mapping, and process flowsKey Activities and Responsibilities:Perform as subject matter expert for the SAP MM & Logistics modules and business processes, providing support for process executionGather, investigate and document business process and functional requirementsPerform gap analysis between current and future state scenarios, implementation planning including development of implementation plansIdentify opportunities for and provide recommendation on business process enhancementsLead test strategy development and facilitate sessions with staff and business members to execute test casesCommunicate effectively with business users and internal teams to deliver functional requirements, assist with documentation, create process maps, etc.Assist in the development of communications and training to support change management actions for any projects or initiativesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with business users and internal team members.Assist Project Manager with project schedule development and maintenanceUtilize expertise in project management, process improvement, metrics, requirements management and understanding of the organization’s systems to ensure the most efficient use of resources
