Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Release Manager for our client.
Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Work closely with product managers and delivery leads to align release plan with the product roadmap.
• Facilitate release readiness reviews.
• Develop and maintain release management policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Identify, document, and manage risks associated with releases.
• Develop contingency plans and ensure proper mitigation strategies are in place.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance lead to ensure the releases meet quality standards before deployment into the relevant environments.
• Conduct post-release reviews to document lessons learned and improve future release processes.
• Continuously improve the release process by identifying inefficiencies and implementing best practices.
• Coordinate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to manage and optimize build and release pipelines.
• Participate in the environment strategy and provisioning.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure and Operations teams to ensure that releases requirements are met.
Mandatory Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in a related field, such as computer science, software engineering, business administration
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Organizational skills, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Minimum security clearance of Reliability
• This position can be filled in Ottawa, Montreal or Toronto and will be hybrid (4 days a month onsite)
• A relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.
