Job Description

We are hiring a Registered Pharmacy Technician, Central Pharmacy Services CPAKReporting directly to the Team Lead, you will be responsible to ensure that the prepared CPAKs are accurate and prepared in a timely manner.What You'll Do:Conduct product verification on all CPAKs prepared to ensure accuracy and completeness of all prescription orders prior to deliveryCommunicate with Shoppers Drug Mart retail stores to ensure all CPAKs are accurate and safe to dispenseOperate and maintain Automated Dispensing equipment used to generate and produce compliance packs for SDM stores, as well as prepare and package medications (SynMed and Vandenbrink Blister Packaging Machine®)Work together with other members of the Product Verification team on continuous improvement processesMaintain pharmacy stock through inventory control systemsWhat You'll Need:Experience with high volume filling environments an assetEffective written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and multi-tasking skillsBe a strong team player and being a part in our Company's Blue Culture valuesMust be able to complete work with minimum supervisionRegistration as a Registered Technician and in Good Standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia Why work at Shoppers Drug Mart?Acting as consultants, supporting internal customers and the Associate-Owners, you will get experience unique to the retail industry while working for an award-winning national brand.
