Work schedule:
The successful candidates will be required to work 12 hours & evenings, including weekends and statutory holidays.
Scheduling is approximately 22.5 hours in a two-week period.
Schedules can change based on operational needs. Upon being fully trained, this role could change to include days and/or nights.

Compensation:
UONA 01Range: $39.07 - $56.00
Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse, you will become an integral member of the interprofessional team responsible for providing compassionate, patient and family-centered emergency care.
This would be a supportive orientation to Emergency where you would complete the required courses with support from the Professional Practice Leader for learning opportunities.
Requirements
- Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses.
- Current BCLS and ACLS.
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
- RNAO membership is preferred.
- ENPC certification is an asset; or willing to complete within 6 months of hire.
- Excellent physical assessment skills are required.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to a patient-centred care environment.
- Demonstrated excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interprofessional team.
- Well-developed organization, communication, interpersonal and teaching skills.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development, continuing education and leadership experience.
- Demonstrated good attendance and performance record with the ability to maintain these same standards.
- Demonstrated commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with organization-related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required.
