Your Job Koch-Glitsch Canada, a Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) company, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and driving advantaged engineered solutions and profitable growth for our partners through defining and implementing strategies for their region leveraging our equipment technology, and services (ET&S) capabilities.  Customers will include accounts such as engineering companies and end users primarily from the refining, petrochemical, specialty chemical, and midstream markets. Our Regional Sales Managers work closely with our customers' technical and commercial personnel to develop equipment and service proposals that offer valuable solutions addressing customers' needs.  The role involves close teamwork internally with our engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure that the ET&S solution is on-time and offers the most value to the customer. The ideal candidate is a contribution motivated Principled Entrepreneur who will serve as a change agent leading the work of understanding our customer’s vision, challenges, and opportunities so that we may maximize commercial effectiveness through Preferred Partnerships. Our Team KOCH Engineered Solutions (“KES”) is a global company with unique business platforms that each deliver advantaged engineered solutions across targeted industries. Current KES core technologies include mass transfer, combustion engineering & pollution control, heat transfer, next generation asset integrity and specialty services. What You Will Do Build long term mutually beneficial relationships with key influencers and decision makers by participating in frequent customer engagements. Develop a thorough understanding of customer’s needs, pain points, opportunities, and priorities regarding their mass transfer, heat transfer, and separation technology equipment. Collaborate with a diverse team to develop technical and commercial proposals that clearly articulate the value of the ET&S proposed solution.  Own the sales process, from origination to proactively selling the company's solutions and validating that our solutions can deliver the desired outcomes. Follow up with customers on proposals sent and drive customer “buy” decisions by preparing and delivering influential presentations and messaging with key decision makers within our customer’s organization to close the deal. Work with the execution team to ensure that customer expectations are met. Exhibit entrepreneurial, customer focused, creative problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency to bring value-based outcomes to customers. Understand and apply Principle Based Management principles. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience in technical sales, engineering, or field engineering in the refining, petrochemical, specialty chemical, or midstream industries. Proficiency with a CRM tool and using it to manage the sales process. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time Located in Alberta and/or willing to relocate to the region What Will Put You Ahead Passion for understanding and supporting the customer and relentless customer focus Strong sense of urgency and accountability for self and others 3+ years of sales experience in the refinery, petrochemical, or related industry Experience with mass transfer, heat transfer, combustion, or mist elimination equipment within the refining, petrochemical, midstream, and upstream markets Salesforce CRM platform experience Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Degree Additionally, everyone has individual work and personal needs.
