THE OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE OPPORTUNITYAs Regional Sales Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our sales strategy to surpass territory objectives and drive business growth. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders while leading the sales process in Ontario. Reporting to the National Director of Sales and Marketing, with a dotted line to the Mississauga Branch Manager, you will join a dynamic multidisciplinary team dedicated to driving sales and services in a fast-paced and competitive industry.This position offers an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial-minded building supply sales specialist to promote our Canadian made products to customers throughout Ontario.The Regional Sales Manager will be in regular contact with current and prospective customers and conduct all sales activities from lead generation to deal closing using technical selling skills and focused product knowledge to deliver superior solutions to customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of account management, sales, and promotion to the residential, commercial, and industrial construction and building supply industry.The ideal candidate is someone who has a proven record of sales achievement, enjoys interacting with people, and thinks outside the box to provide tailor-made solutions to our customers. Working closely with the branch manager in our Mississauga location, the Regional Sales Manager will support all territorial sales needs in Ontario and will drive growth in the market.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESRegular site visits to our Customers, Dealers and Partners to build and promote strong relationships.Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectationsBe responsible to create, generate and maintain sales reports and customer account plans, maintaining a 12-24-month view of the sales pipeline with appropriate actions to maximize long-term revenue growth, while simultaneously accomplishing quarterly objectivesComplete required onboarding training and development objectives within the assigned time frame to develop technical product knowledge to promote features and benefits of our products to clients and answer any questions customers may have.Willingness to work and travel regularly throughout Ontario with occasional travel to other provinces in CanadaUtilize the company CRM for all aspects of account management: lead generation and contact accounts set up following appropriate procedures as developed to complete order cycleDevelop sales presentations, proposals, or other materials to illustrate benefits from the use of our products or services.Assess market conditions and competitors' activities and develop an awareness of emerging markets and trendsTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE ► 5-10 years of outside technical/building supplies sales experience► Experience with distribution sales, production and manufacturing industry knowledge is an asset► Architectural and Commercial sales experience is an asset► Exceptional customer service abilities with excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated through written and verbal communications.► Proficient organizational and time management skills.► A true team player, sales driven self-starter with integrity and accountability; an exemplary track record of consistent achievement► Experience in a complex sales environment, managing demanding customer accounts► Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to deliver a clear and compelling value proposition to customers/partners► Decisive problem-solving ability and capability to assess people and situations with accuracyEDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL ACCREDITATIONS ► A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education, training, and years of experience will be considered
